$300 Budget PC that will run games at 1080p

CASE - Zalman ZM-T1 PLUS MicroATX Mini Tower Case - $25.98

Quick note about the PC: It will run pretty much any game at 1080p, but for new games it will have to be on low settings. $300 can only stretch so far unfortunately. Back to the build! The Zalman case is very good for it's price, and even has a USB 3.0 front port.

CPU - AMD Athlon X4 845 3.5GHz Quad-Core - $66.25

This little AMD processor has very surprising performance for the price, and is almost equal to the i3 4370 which costs $142.

GPU - Zotac GeForce GTX 750 Ti 2GB - $98.99

Just about the best graphics card out there for $100. Still fairly new, supports DirectX 12 and has 2GB's of vram. I had this card myself and can confirm that it will play Battlefield 1 on Low/Med at 60 fps on 1080p.

MOTHERBOARD - Biostar Hi-Fi A70U3P Micro ATX FM2+ - $41.98

Not a well known brand, but very good motherboard for $40. Sadly there aren't many ram or PCI-E slots, but it does have two USB 3.0 slots.

RAM - Team Elite 4GB (1 x 4GB) DDR3-1333 - $17.88

Really the cheapest ram you can buy if your budget is a very strict $300. If you can, spend an extra $20 and get 8GB's of RAM around 1600mhz instead.

PSU - EVGA 400W ATX Power Supply - 27.89

One of the cheapest and fairly reliable power supplies. This PC has a very low power requirement, so even a 300 watt PSU should work.

HDD - Western Digital Caviar Blue 250GB 3.5" 7200RPM $20.00

With a $300 budget you can't really afford to get any more space than 250GB's. Again, if you can spend an extra $20 or so buy something around 500-1000GB's. I've tried to maximize the performance you can get for $300 on this PC, hence why most of the budget is spent on the CPU and GPU. The total price of the PC is $298.97 PC Partpicker link: http://pcpartpicker.com/list/yRsYNN

No OS or peripherals are included as most people already have a copy of windows, or can find one fairly cheap at the right place. If you're off to college or uni you can get windows 10 educational from them for very cheap or even free.
